Mentorship Program:

The mentorship program was a cornerstone of the conference, fostering meaningful connections and knowledge-sharing among participants. A total of 103 mentees, primarily at the resident training level or above, were paired with 26 mentors, who were experts in various neurology and neuropsychiatry subfields. The program also included 26 moderators who facilitated engaging discussions during sessions.

Participant Engagement:

Despite the challenges of organizing a hybrid event, a significant number of attendees, including 56% of registered mentees, 100% of moderators, and 96% of mentors, actively participated in the conference. Due to mentee attrition, each room for mentorship sessions contained 2-3 mentees, ensuring personalized and enriching interactions.

Feedback and Networking:

The mentorship sessions received overwhelmingly positive feedback, with 90% of respondents indicating that the sessions met their goals very well or extremely well. Furthermore, an impressive 99% of participants felt that the virtual mentorship sessions were at least comparable to in-person networking at conferences, and 60% of respondents even expressed that they found the virtual sessions to be better than in-person networking opportunities.
